Opening event and exhibition

UDONNO SOUND's inaugural exhibition features Bristol-based artist Rider Shafique, known for his diverse talents as a Lyricist, MC, spoken word poet, and recording artist. Shafique will be showcasing a collection of photographs capturing the essence of UK soundsystemculture.

With a distinctive voice that resonates through various electronic music genres such as Drum & Bass, Dub, Dubstep, Dancehall, and Jazz, Shafique's lyrical eloquence embodies consciousness and empowerment while staying true to his musical roots.Describing his musical influences, Shafique articulates, "I’ve got lots of different aspects to my personality. UK music borrows from lots of different elements, so as a vocalist there are lots of different elements that inspire me."

His performance on Thursday, December 12th at Jolene Bar, Flæsketorvet 81-85, will mark his first visit to Copenhagen.Shafique's work transcends boundaries, evident in his collaborations, documentaries, and radio interviews.
